Comparison
The best youth sports fundraising platforms in 2026
There are four main ways teams raise money online today: rep-led donation campaigns, free tip-supported platforms, performance-based pledges, and product or cashback programs. Here's how the best-known options compare on what teams care about most: how much money actually reaches the team, and what reviewers say.
| Platform | Model | What the team keeps* | Reviews say |
|---|---|---|---|
| Snap! Raise | Rep-led donation campaign | About 80% (per Snap! help center) | Easy and effective, but the cut is the top complaint |
| Vertical Raise | Rep-led donation campaign | Varies; ~80% commonly reported | Great reps; the fee is the top complaint |
| 99Pledges | Free a-thon platform | 100% minus card fees (3.49% + $0.49); tip-supported | Free and fast; built for event-day a-thons |
| Pledge It | Performance-based pledges | Card fees 2.9% + $0.30; plan pricing varies | Strong support; some cost complaints |
| RallyUp | Raffles, auctions, crowdfunding | 0% option (tip-supported) or a percentage plan | Flexible; some note support delays |
| FlipGive | Shopping cashback | 2–15% of family spending | Painless, but slow; recent payout complaints |
| Double Good | Virtual popcorn sale | 50% of sales | Organizers love it; buyers find it pricey |
| PledgeStop | Performance-based pledges for teams | 100% of pledges; supporter pays $1 verification | New platform, still building a review base |

Rep-led donation campaigns: Snap! Raise and Vertical Raise
These are the most "done-for-you" options. A rep sets up the campaign, players load contacts, and the platform sends the asks. Reviews agree they work and save coaches time. They also agree on the trade-off: a roughly 20% share of what you raise. A 2026 class action against Snap! Mobile also alleges that donors were nudged into extra checkout fees. Those claims are unproven.
Free, tip-supported platforms: 99Pledges and RallyUp
These take no platform percentage and instead show donors an optional tip at checkout. 99Pledges is built for walk-a-thons and hit-a-thons. RallyUp is broader, covering raffles, auctions and crowdfunding, and also offers a percentage-based plan. Teams keep far more, but should make sure donors understand the tip is optional.
Performance-based pledges: Pledge It and PledgeStop
Fans pledge per touchdown, goal, win or other stat. This keeps supporters following along all season, and Pledge It reports that pledges raise about twice as much as an average one-time donation. Pledge It is the established name with strong reviews. PledgeStop is a newer option built specifically for teams, with per-game, per-win and flat pledges, supporter-set caps, and cancel-anytime links. The team receives 100% of each pledge.
Shopping and product programs: FlipGive and Double Good
These raise money without a direct ask. FlipGive turns family shopping into cash back, which is low effort but slow. Double Good sends 50% of popcorn sales to the team, and organizers love the short virtual sales. Buyers often feel it's expensive for what they get, and some would rather just donate.
How to pick
- Want the least work and can give up a percentage? A rep-led campaign.
- Running a single event day? A free a-thon platform.
- Want fans engaged all season and keep the most money? Performance-based pledges.
- Want a background earner? Add cashback alongside your main fundraiser.
